A new space for children at the Orangerie Museum

8

Playing is an art... The Musée de l'Orangerie understands this well and is pampering the little ones with this brand new space designed just for them! After admiring the majestic Water Lilies and revealing the thousand and one secrets of Claude Monet to your children, all you have to do is dive with your frogs into this newly inaugurated room with green and bluish tones offering a fun dive into the atmosphere aquatic by the master of impressionism. It is on this comfortable island that our visitors aged 0 to 12 are invited to create, read, observe and listen to the “Imaginary Walks” podcasts specially concocted by the museum. Little ones will be able to let themselves be lulled by new stories, while older children will want to participate in this giant coloring, solve an artistic puzzle or recompose Henri Matisse's interiors as they wish. The museum even invites you to rediscover with your fingertips the portrait Woman with a Velvet Ribbon by Amedeo Modigliani and the scene painted by Henri Rousseau in The Wedding, thanks to a fun play on materials. Ready to take on the challenge as a family?
