New edition, new name. Art Basel, the famous contemporary art fair, unveils the details and highlights of its 2024 edition, which marks a major transformation with its inauguration under the new name Art Basel Paris at the Grand Palais recently renovated.
This large-scale event, which will be held from October 18 to 20, 2024, will bring together 194 galleries from 42 countries and territories. Among these galleries, 51 are first-time exhibitors and 64 have spaces in France, demonstrating the international and local appeal of this event. This year's edition will be particularly historic since it will be the first fair to open its doors to the public in this emblematic place after three years of renovation work.
The adoption of the name Art Basel Paris is the result of numerous consultations with various partners and underlines the fair's commitment to fully integrating the Parisian cultural ecosystem!
