Museum of Modern Art, Paris
From October 2, 2026 to February 7, 2027

Before the jury makes its decision, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris gives you four good reasons to form your own opinion.

1

There are four of them. One will receive the 2026 Marcel Duchamp Prize on October 22,, during Paris Art Week. Before the verdict, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is presenting the finalists of this 26th edition free of charge for more than four months.. Joël Andrianomearisoa,, a textile artist of Malagasy origin, designed Madagascar’s first pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2019. His embroidered and woven installations transform fabric into a poetic language. David Brognon and Stéphanie Rollin form a Franco-Luxembourgish duo that explores social and carceral margins, transforming statistics of precarity into sculptures, videos, and installations. Photographer and videographer Laura Henno has been documenting migrant children, clandestine communities, and lives on the margins for twenty years, notably in Mayotte and the Californian desert. The youngest nominee, Josèfa Ntjam, develops an Afrofuturist body of work blending digital installations, videos, and performances around mythologies, the sea, and decentered cosmologies. Four perspectives for one of the most diverse selections of the Prize. And you, who would you have awarded it to?
