Reopening of the Bourdelle Museum: a renewed look at the sculptor

25

The Bourdelle Museum is finally reopening its doors! After the renovation of this architectural heritage, from the restoration of Antoine Bourdelle's workshops to the transformation of the artist's apartment into a café-restaurant, discover the brand new museum route. Between the small earthen rooms of the workshop, the marble torsos of Greco-Roman inspiration, without forgetting the sumptuous plaster hall, immerse yourself in the multiple facets of the sculptor's life. The promenade and the two gardens provide a delightful setting for the impressive bronze figures, while the six rooms that make up the permanent collection display more than a hundred sculptures which accurately demonstrate the scale and diversity of its production.
