Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant exhibition at Tate Britain

TATE BRITAIN
From November 12, 2026 to April 11, 2027

Tate Britain brings together more than three hundred works by Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, the artist couple and central figures of Bloomsbury, and recreates their Charleston studio at full scale.

Their story begins in the Bloomsbury circle and spans half a century. They are at the heart of this group which, at the beginning of the 20th century, made freedom and experimentation a way of life. The exhibition follows their trajectory, from early Post-Impressionist and abstract canvases to later landscapes, still lifes, and self-portraits, as well as furniture, ceramics, and textiles adorned with their modernist motifs. The exhibition also features a full-scale reconstruction of Duncan Grant's studio, transported from Charleston, the Sussex farmhouse where the couple lived and worked.
