The Benjamin Millepied cycle at the Folies Bergère

Benjamin Millepied takes over the Folies Bergère for three weeks and installs dance where the revue once reigned, from Barbara to November Ultra.

1

Three shows, one address. Barbara, du bout des lèvres opens the show: the singer's repertoire is channeled through bodies on a bare stage where performers from different generations take turns. Move Me Once More, co-created with filmmaker Léa Mysius, starts with a body exposed after the storm and brings it back to life through dance, voice, and song, in a cabaret style perfectly suited to the venue. Summerland closes the cycle with November Ultra at the center of the stage, composing and singing, surrounded by a luminous space reminiscent of James Turrell.
