The 90s, Art and Fashion exhibition at Tate Britain
TATE BRITAIN
From October 8, 2026 to February 14, 2027
Tate Britain reopens 1990s London: Cool Britannia, a resourceful spirit and cult of reality, a portrait of a generation that redefined cool.
This is the first major exhibition dedicated to the intersection of art, photography, and fashion at that time. Curated by Edward Enninful, former editor-in-chief of British Vogue who lived through the decade from the inside, *The 90s: Art and Fashion* brings together nearly seventy designers and over one hundred works, from the Young British Artists, Hirst, Emin, Lucas, to photographers Wolfgang Tillmans, Corinne Day, and Juergen Teller, to Alexander McQueen. Cool Britannia, resourcefulness, and a cult of reality: a portrait of a generation that redefined cool and still shapes our images.
